28 minutes. Guides you from waking (alpha) to the hypnagogic edge (theta) and lets you drift, then fades to silence so it doesn't wake you.
How to use it
Lie down, eyes closed, headphones if you can (unlocks the binaural layer; Bluetooth is fine — the pulsing works either way).
Let it play. Don't try to sleep or stay awake — float. The theta window (~8–20 min in) is the hypnagogic edge.
Optional Dormio move: pick one question or image before you start. If a microdream surfaces, jot it when you rouse.
It fades to silence by minute 28, so it won't jolt you.
The descent map
0–3 min settle · 10 Hz (alpha) 3–10 min glide 10 → 6 Hz (alpha → theta) 10–18 min 6 → 4.5 Hz (hypnagogic edge) 18–25 min 4.5 → 4 Hz (deep theta / N1) 25–28 min fade to silence
Isochronic pulsing (mono-safe) carries the entrainment; a warm 96 Hz drone, a brown-noise bed, and a ~6→3.6 breaths/min swell ride under it. A binaural pair (100 Hz / 100+f Hz) adds depth on headphones.
